Naval Association of Australia - Brisbane Sub Section sponsoring Navy Motorcycle Riders.

One of the objectives of the Brisbane Sub Section of the Naval Association's is to gather ex-jacks across Australia into the Sub Section of the Naval Association of Australia to gain younger members who share not only their naval heritage but their love of motorcycle riding.

The Navy Motorcycle Riders is not a Bike Club; and as such members can ride with whoever they wish. We are serving members or veterans who just happen to ride motorcycles, not motorcyclists that just happen to have been in the military.

The Brisbane Sub Section has a proud heritage being one of the oldest Sub Sections in the Naval Association; with a mix of youthful enthusiasm, age, experience, passion and history we intend to remain a flagship Sub Section, well into the future.

All serving members and naval veterans are welcome to join us.

The Brisbane Sub Section is open to anyone who satisfies the membership requirements of the Naval Association of Australia being:

• Former or serving personnel of Commonwealth Navies and Australia’s Allies, provided that any separation from such service was not the result of an assessment of unsuitability or a breach of discipline.

• Former or serving Australian Naval Cadet (ANC) officers and instructors and who have served as such for not less than two years, provided that any separation from the ANC was not the result of an assessment of unsuitability or a breach of discipline.

• Former or serving members of the ANC who have reached the age of 18 years and completed at least three years’ service in the ANC, provided that any separation from the ANC was not the result of an assessment of unsuitability or a breach of discipline.

• Former or serving personnel of any Commonwealth of Nations merchant naval service who, in the performance of their merchant naval duties, have served in a war zone or other theater of military operations.

The Sub Section sponsors the Navy Motorcycle Riders but non riders are most welcome to join the sub section.

The Naval Association of Australia began its life in 1920 as the Ex-Navalmen's Association and is the premier organization outside of Navy looking to the interests of both serving and ex naval members. It embraces all ranks and both men and women. Its logo is "Once Navy - Always Navy"

The Associations principle objectives are to:
